As we prepare to deploy the latest in wireless Internet technology, Cal.net is working to increase its visibility in Placerville, Lotus, Coloma, Cameron Park, and throughout El Dorado County. As a part of this effort, we want to remind our customers about our referral program.
The program is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. You tell your friends and family about Cal.net’s Internet Service and remind them to mention you when they call in.
2. Our highly professional staff will check their home for service availability and schedule a FREE survey and install.
3. Our trained technicians will come to their home and confirm wireless internet service is available. If it is available, then the technician will install new high speed wireless Internet on the spot!
Once service is connected to your referral, your account will be credited for $39.95. That’s it! No contracts or annual plans. Just old fashioned customer service and the latest in wireless Internet technology. Cal.net has no caps on its referral program, and so the opportunity exists to fund our entire Internet experience by referring friends and neighbors.
Feel free to give us a call if you would like to hear more about our promotions, programs, or to learn about upgrading your own Internet service.
In a continuing effort to improve Internet services to our local market of Placerville, El Dorado County, and the Sacramento area, Cal.net has migrated all former Webspace customers from “www.cal.net/~username” to “webspace.cal.net/~username”. It is important that Webspace users update their site links because, as of today, Webspace links to www.cal.net will no longer work.
It is important that Webspace users modify the links on their site or they will lose connectivity.
As Webspace is a program no longer supported by Cal.net, we are currently offering a promotional rate for website hosting for only $5.99/month to qualifying Webspace customers.
If you are a Webspace user interested in upgrading your service, or if you are having trouble, please feel free to contact customer service at 530.672.1708 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As reported by Yahoo, Google, and a host of other media outlets, many computers could be disconnected from the Internet due to Malware on Monday. Cal.net is experiencing a high volume of calls relating to this issue and we encourage our customers to visit the DNS Changer Check Up at this site.
If the site is green and says you are ok, then you have nothing to worry about. No further action is required.
If it is red, and tells you that you are infected, please feel free to contact us relating to additional steps you can take to ensure your service is not interrupted.
