Someone on the Bouvier e-mail list asked which smaller breed of dog one might switch to when the inevitable debility of human aging made it difficult to live with a Bouvier. I responded that I would simply take care to adopt older and more sedate natured Bouvier from Bouvier Rescue. Then I wrote this song.
WHEN I'M EIGHTY-FOUR(to tune of "When I'm Sixty-Four" , Lennon & McCartney)by Pam Green , © 2002As I got older, grey in my hair, As I get older , losing my bones, As I get older , losing my strength, They'll be older too. Maybe I can't lift near seven stone, Even if I have to move and live in town, Maybe we won't go walking each day, |
